Believe it or not, other young people and their parents are observing and always ask "where'd you get that? We have read and heard that positive compliments make everyone feel special. Imagine how important this makes your little one feel. The messages on the T-shirts are positive. One T-shirt that's a favorite says, "Future Genius", another which is personalized has your favorite University on the front. One even has colorful Math signs like plus, minus signs, etc. Who could resist this?
Crib Sheets and Mattress Protectors - Make sure you pick out your crib before you look at sheets because the sizes can vary depending on your crib or bassinet. A waterproof mattress protector can protect the longevity of your mattress, so it’s definitely a good buy.
Can you steer it? We have to laugh at the number of strollers that call themselves "an SUV for baby." It's not easy to park an SUV, and it's not easy to squeeze a giant stroller through store aisles. Some barely fit through store doors. Always test-push a stroller. Can it turn corners? Maneuver through tight spaces? Pretend baby just tossed his sippy cup on the sidewalk and you have to spin around 180 degrees. Easy?
Cozy Swaddles - Wrap your baby up in a blanket like a little baby burrito, and they’ll be soothingly reminded of the womb. Since they wake up and cry when they wriggle free, an escape-proof swaddle is ideal, but it’s also got to be user friendly for a sleep-deprived parent. Socks - You’re looking for the ones that are good at staying on the baby’s feet, otherwise the perpetual missing sock hunt will drive you crazy. Hats - Many people believe that babies should wear hats all the time, but actually babies can go hatless between 55-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Still, it’s good to have a few (in varying sizes; baby’s head will change size fast).
