Um, Maybe… : Bottle Warmers - You’re not supposed to microwave milk because it can get hot spots which scald your baby’s mouth. Parents either buy a bottle warmer, or warm up bottles by placing them in warm water. Depending on how often you’re heating bottles, determine which is easier for you. Bottle Sterilizers - You can boil bottles to sterilize them, but owning a steam sterilizer can be convenient particularly for parents of immune-compromised babies.
Changing Table - Many bedrooms are very small and there is not much room to squeeze in furniture. If this describes your situation, consider which nursery furniture you really need. You will definitely need a crib, you’ll probably want a dresser for your baby’s clothes, and you may want a rocker as well. This leaves little or no room for a changing table. So instead of making the costly purchase of a changing table, consider making a changing area on the dresser or on the floor. I found that changing my baby’s diaper on the floor was the safest place once he became mobile.
Toys - We all have read that effective toys can stimulate the brain of the young. The Genius Baby Gears toys range from stuffed animals to dolls and toy trains. The sharp colors illuminate words and pictures. There are also maps that visually capture anyone's attention. The toys are safe and toxic free. Please try the Medical Kit. There is the Otoscope, Scissors, Stethoscope, Rflex Hammer, and Syringe. Baby's First Ball is absolutely adorable. It's a cozy bouncy black, white, and red jingle ball.
An Odor-Proof Diaper Pail: Diaper pails are more odor-proof than regular trash cans, and unless you’re throwing every diaper in an outdoor trash can, it’s definitely nice to have a diaper pail. Some require special liners and others use regular trash bags, so stock up on liners if necessary. A Suitable Baby Monitor - If you live in a small enough space that you can always hear or see what your baby is up to, you don’t need a monitor. Otherwise, it’s great to have! There’s a lot to consider: video or audio? Smartphone integration? Security? Durability?
